Mittwoch, den 16. Juni 2010 um 21:10 Uhr

A curious case came to light in past days. Czech Army has lost computer containing military records during its mission in Afghanistan. The Army has no information about current location of the computer.

Czech commander, colonel Střecha tried to conceal the incident. He asked a soldier in psychic shock after the attack on an armored vehicle to testify that the missing laptop had been destroyed during that attack. Soldier agreed but changed his mind lately and reported everything.

This case illustrates the importance of data security again, particularly with regard to military data.
